Not in love with your purchase or need a different size? We gladly accept exchanges on full-priced, non-sale items that are unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached within 14 days from the date your item was delivered. Items can be exchanged for other items in the store or the cost of your item(s) will be applied onto a Black Salt gift card. We do not issue refunds.
All sale items are FINAL SALE, as well as full-priced items purchased using a discount code of 30% or more. Any item under these guidelines cannot be exchanged. We try to list measurements of each item on our site, but if you are unsure on sizing/fit/etc, please ask us any questions before buying as items cannot be exchanged if they do not fit.
:: HOW TO EXCHANGE ::
Before sending back your item, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number & exchange inquiry. If you plan to make an exchange for another size or product currently in stock, please let us know so we can put the item on hold if needed as often we only have one of each size in stock!

- Please include the original packing slip with your item(s) when you mail them back. We are not liable for lost packages. Please add insurance and tracking to your package. Please be gentle with all items, package them up properly in their original packaging. If you email us the tracking number for your exchange, the exchange process can be finalized a little quicker.
- Once we receive the exchange (please allow 3-5 business day processing), we will contact you via email to process the exchange/issue you a Gift Card for the amount of the item(s).
Note: Our secure mailbox is in a different location than our studio so we don't know your exchange has been delivered until we check our mailbox, which is often only once a week. Want to speed up the exchange process a bit? Send us your tracking when you mail the package - that way we can know when it's been delivered and will know to head to our mailbox to get things goin'.

Exchanges after 14 days cannot be accepted.
The original shipping charge is non-refundable, and you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for any item you exchange.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused/unworn/unwashed, with tags attached, and in the same condition that you received it. We will refuse items with pet hair, perfume smells, makeup stains, deodorant marks, etc.
We do not issue refunds.
:: INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGES ::
All guidelines above apply as well for international orders. Please contact us within 14-days of delivery date if you would like an exchange for store credit. At this time for international orders, we only offer store credit for exchanges (no size swaps, etc).
All orders must be postmarked (date that a package is shipped) within 14-days of original delivery date. We highly recommend packages be tracked and insured (at buyer's cost), as we cannot be held responsible for lost or missing packages. Return shipping costs are the responsibiity of the customer. Original and return shipping costs are not refunded. Store credit issued will be for the amount of the item(s) only.

For orders shipping to an address within the United States, we offer free shipping on any purchase $50 and over. Purchases under $50 will ship for a flat rate of $7.
- WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP? All domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and shipped within 1 business day of order placement. Weekend orders will be shipped on Monday (sometimes Saturday if we get ahead of ourselves!) Please take into account holidays when orders won't be shipped ('cause the post is closed!) On occasion, there may be a two-business-day delay in shipping, especially during big sales.
- WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED? Depending where you live in the US, you will get your package within 1-3 days from the date it was shipped. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information for your package. You also receive an update when your order is out for delivery and when it has been delivered.
NOTE: We are not responsible for lost packages and cannot reimburse orders that were misdelivered by the post office or stolen from a property. Thank you for understanding. If you have a package that was marked as delivered but was not received, please contact your local post office.
We ship via USPS International First Class. Orders under $300 have a flat rate fee of $13; orders $300+ ship free!
- WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP? All orders will be processed and shipped within 2 business days. Please take into account US holidays. We do not ship international orders over the weekend. Any orders with preordered items will ship complete when the preordered item arrives to us.
- WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED? USPS International First Class shipping method typically takes an estimated 6-15 business days to arrive, sometimes sooner depending on the location. Basic tracking is included with all Canadian orders.
Black Salt ships worldwide. USPS First Class International is our international shipping method for a flat rate of $15 for orders under $300, and FREE for orders $300+.
- WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP? All international orders will be processed and shipped within 2 business days. Please take into account US holidays. We do not ship international orders over the weekend. Any orders with preordered items will ship complete when preordered item arrives to us.
- WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED? USPS International First Class shipping method typically takes an estimated 6-15 business days to arrive. Depending on your country’s customs department, shipping methods may take longer than the expected delivery range given. This is beyond our control.
- TRACKING? Basic tracking is included for most countries with this shipping method; however, it may not available for some countries. Tracking is NOT guaranteed. For certain countries, tracking does not update once it leaves the United States. This isn't a glitch or cause for worry - your package is still on the way; it just depends on the receiving country if your tracking gets updated after it leaves the US. Please also note that USPS may change the option to track First Class International packages at any time; we will try to update our page as guidelines change.
- CUSTOMS, DUTIES, TAXES: All customs duties, taxes, or fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. Black Salt is required to accurately declare the value of all international orders on customs forms. Sometimes customs delays do occur. The amount and types of duties, as well as other customs information, can be obtained by contacting a local post office.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not responsible for lost packages. If your package gets returned to us due to duties/customs not paid or item not claimed, etc, we will contact you. To attempt to ship again, you will be charged another international shipping fee. Original shipping fees will not be refunded.
