I opened Black Salt in December of 2011 with a tiny boutique in Louisville, KY, & filled the store with apothecary & rock n roll-inspired threads. It eventually grew into an online-based shop, focusing more & more on ethical and sustainable brands by the year.

Music & fashion of the '60s through '90s are the biggest inspirations for selecting the items stocked in the shop.
